God heals today!

As it is coming close to the Pentecost Sunday Prayer Gathering (http://evite.me/Zt3khxCXsv), I'm getting excited about what God may do in that gathering.

I'm expecting something great, because recently I have just witness God's wonderful miracles twice this week.

First, my neighbouring couple visited me on Tuesday morning to share me an exciting news. About a month ago, when I was talking with David, an elderly husband, he told me all the swellings he had in his hands (could not even fold his fingers) and his legs (could not walk easily). His doctor could not figure out and couldn't give any treatment. So, I shared how I often prayed for healing at my previous church and these prayers were often answered with miraculous healing, and I prayed for him.

Tuesday morning, they came to tell me that ever since then the swellings in his body drastically reduced. He can now fold his fingers and use his hands. He showed his hands with all the wrinkles, created by losing the swellings in his hands. His legs have lost the swellings significantly, so he can walk with cane. We praised God together.

The couple told us this was an answer to their prayer, because they always believed in prayer but have never seen prayers being answered in a drastic way before and always wanted to see God answering prayers. Now, they have and it gives them so much faith and joy.

I was joyous too, because as far as I remember this is first time I heal someone without being in a spirit-filled environment. Before, all the healing miracles happened during prayer or worship environment (Alpha weekend away or prayer meeting). If you've been following my updates, you know that I'm praying for the authority over diseases and sickness, and this, I feel that, somewhat an answer to my prayer.

The other evening, I got a text message requesting a help with deliverance. I'm not going to share details, but one thing I want to highlight from this is that it wasn't just a deliverance. It was more about her experiencing inner healing, the healing of the wounds she had in her heart from her past experience. I often find in deliverance the spirits anchor on our sins or past traumatic-like experience, which caused hurts and wounds inside. I was grateful that, as she was being delivered, she experienced God's love pouring upon her, healing the wounds she had inside from her past.

Does God still heal today? Absolutely! He heals our physical bodies and also the wounds inside us. I'm now praying more healing, inside and outside, will occur on this Sunday evening, so that the name of Jesus be lifted high and with renewed body, mind and soul, the healed will dedicate their lives to the glory of our Father and his kingdom.

In Christ,

John
